Nepal festival is one of the biggest Nepalese event held in Australia, which is due to be held at Darling Harbour on 2nd September 2012. The main aim of this festival is to promote the mutual cultures of Nepal and Australia enriching the multicultural aspects in Australia.
The Recent Nepal Festivals were hosted in Sydney (2006, 2008 & 2010), Melbourne (2008 & 2010) and Brisbane (2010). There will be an estimated 30,000 people attending the festival in Darling Harbour including frequent travellers, students, businesses, media and the wider public.

More than 40 stalls including food, handicraft, information, travel, charities will be showcasing on the colourful day with cultural programs, fashion parades by different cultures, media reporting, food tasting, formal programs etc to name a few.

In the eve of Festival, a global conference of people of Nepali diaspora around the world, called 7th NRN Regional Conference will be held on 30th August 2012 to 1 September 2012 at The Menzies Hotel, Sydney. An estimated 500 global and Australian leaders of business and community will be attending the event. An estimated 70,000 people will be watching these events very closely in Australia in addition to the wider Australian public and approximately 3 million people around the world. A huge number of community and business leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals and students will be attending the event themselves. The conference and festival publicity and merchandise will reach approximately 3 million viewers and readers. The regional conference is being organised for the first time in Australia in such a large scale.
The Grand Nepal Festival in Darling Harbour will be targeted for the entire Nepalese Community and the wider Australian public living in Australia and particularly in Sydney.
